The Doorbell

Beloved, without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to Him must believe that He is and that He rewards those who diligently seek Him. Jesus, the Son of God, and the fullness of the Father's expression, said that if we will just believe on Him and learn to walk in His ways then NOTHING will be impossible for us. Here, let me say this again: HE SAID THAT NOTHING WILL BE IMPOSSIBLE FOR US.

Now, the Father and the Son are not men that They should lie to us, nor are They mere sons of men that They should change Their mind about things that They have promised us. So, I believe that when Jesus says to us, "For those who believe, EVERYTHING is possible," I believe Him. Don't you? That is a promise to us from the Lord Himself, and as far as I understand it, ALL of God's promises to us in Him are "Yea and Amen."

So, having said what I have, I feel to now share that I feel compelled like never before these days to seek the Lord for such a deep and thorough inner cleansing and purging that NOTHING of any dark sort will be able to be found in me. Is this really possible? Can we really come to a place in God where we, like Jesus, can say, "The prince of this world is coming but he has nothing on me. There is NO darkness in me, so Satan cannot touch me in a way that is harmful to me spiritually" (this is a paraphrase, of course)? I believe that we can! Let me say this again: Jesus said that if we will just BELIEVE then NOTHING will be impossible for us! Did He really mean NOTHING? ... or do you think that He meant almost nothing? I think that He meant just what He said, and that means that BY FAITH IT IS POSSIBLE for us to walk in holiness and righteousness HERE AND NOW. Am I there yet? No, but every molecule of my being is now crying out to get to such a place in Him .. and I care not what the cost is of attaining to such a place. I am willing to go through anything to get there. How about you?

Beloved, I think that it's time now for some of us to TRUST GOD like never before and pray rather dangerously, to pray (cry out to Him now with all of our being) to be cleansed from everything that is not of Christ, and have NO FEAR of how God might do that. I can assure you, beloved, such a prayer rises to the Father as a sweet and fragrant incense. It is that which comes from the Altar of Incense which is just outside the Veil of the Most Holy Place, and in a sense, it is THE DOORBELL to that Place, which, in the ringing of it proclaims to God that we (without reservation because of cost) want to COME IN. It says to Him that we really mean business and want to come into the glory!

Beloved, I want to GO IN! ... and I care not about the cost for that. Do you?

Please, Lord, for those of us who are willing to entrust all that we are into Your hands that You might have your way with us (and in us) now, bring us into the glory. Please, Lord, bring us in beyond the last veil into Your fullness. We want to know You in the power of Your resurrection, Lord, even through the fellowship of Your sufferings being conformed to Your death. We know that there is pain involved in the offering of ourselves through this prayer, but even this we know to be something that is pleasing to the Father, because it is of Christ, because it is the way of the Cross. We want to bless YOU now, Lord, by living in demonstration to others of Your Cross. Please, Lord, take us through whatever we need to go through now and give us all that we need of Your Spirit that we might live in just such a way ... and BRING YOU GLORY.

-- Yea and Amen. So be it.
